A New Name!

We've changed the name of this blog to avoid any confusion with the Municipal webpage dealing with the November 13 municipal election.

Please update your bookmarks and spread the word!

  1. Love the new name, but I seriously doubt anyone would have/could have confused your Clarington Votes 2006 blog with the Municipal webpage. If anyone from the municipality was the blogger, I would think they would have been fired by now!

  2. Are you so sure that the blogger isn't someone from the municipality? Just because you work for Clarington, doesn't mean someone might not want to see some changes there. And who would be in a better position to know?

Could it even be one of the present councillors? Doubtful to both scenarios but you never know.

  3. I was so worried yesterday when I couldn't find your blog. I thought maybe you had gone due to pressure from somewhere. I am so glad you have just changed your name and are sticking around. I like the new name too. But confuse you with the municipal website? I don't think so!

Please stick around, even after the election.

  4. Yes, I agree with John. Please do stick around. Maybe an interesting site such as this one will encourage people to become more involved. Sometimes the "issues" can be dry and bland, but I always know I'll find something of interest here. Yes, stick around during and after the election.

  5. Please keep bring the issues to our attention. Most of us don't even know half of what is happening municipally. I will admit I had no real interest in it until recently. The blog helps me to understand some of it and shows the importance these issues have to us.

Municipal government isn't so far removed from us and we should take it seriously and make an effort to know what is going on in the community and how council decisions affect us.

  6. You rock! I'm in high school and this has become interesting even for me. Good way to get the younger generation involved for a change. And we are the future!
